Conference Sessions
Asana as inquiry not achievement
Saturday, 18 April / 11.00am-12.30pm
Public Yoga demonstrations and books fuel a public fascination with extreme asanas beyond most people’s capabilities, fuelling an ego-led craving for achievement.  This practice will teach you to turn asana practice on its head, replacing ambition with curiosity, and effort with skill as you are guided by your breath.  The results can be exquisite pleasure simply to be comfortable in your body and at peace with your breath and your mind. Learn how to avoid niggling injuries and experience a joyful reconnection and aliveness.
